Friends of Great Bentley (PTA)
The Friends of Great Bentley Primary School are a friendly group of people who work hard to raise money for the school in many ways.
Most of us became 'Friends' because we want to make a positive difference to our child's educational experience and to help make their school be the best it can be!
We hold regular events each term for the children such as:
School Discos
Film Nights
We also organise annual events such as:
Christmas Fayre
Assist with Christmas Lunch
Pantomime
Easter Egg Hunt
Summer Fayre
Organise Leaver's Hoodies/Gifts
Adult Quiz Night
The money raised is spent on things such as:
Playground/Climbing Equipment
Sand Pit
Stage in the Hall
Lego Shed
Lights for Disco
Inflatables
Library Equipment/Books
Miscellaneous Activities/Events/Equipment for School
To subsidise school trips
We take care to contribute evenly through the school and our contribution is significant and appreciated.
We meet roughly once a month to discuss ideas and arrange fund raising events. We are always willing to welcome newcomers, so if you would like to join us please get in touch.
If you feel you would be willing to help but do not feel able to commit to being on the committee, then perhaps you could be on our list of helpers. The only commitment required is to turn up to the event you agree to help with. If you would like to help, please let us know by popping your contact details in our 'Friends of Great Bentley Primary School' contact box which is in the office reception area.
