Parent Teacher Association (PTA)
The 'Friends of Great Bentley Primary School' are a friendly group of people who work hard to raise money for the school in many ways.
Most of us became 'Friends' because we want to make a positive difference to our child's educational experience and to help make their school be the best it can be!
We hold regular events each term for the children such as:
- School Discos
- Film Nights
- Fayres
- Christmas card project
Our next event is on the 9th November:-
We also organise annual events such as:
- Christmas Lunch
- Pantomime visits
- Easter Craft Day and Egg Hunts
- Summer Fayre
- Leavers' Hoodies/Gifts
- Adult Quiz Night
The money raised is spent on things such as:
- Playground/Climbing Equipment
- Sand Pits
- The stage in the hall
- The Lego Shed
- Lights for Discos
- Inflatables
- Sensory room equipment
- Library Equipment/Books
- Miscellaneous Activities/Events/Equipment for School
- To subsidise school trips
We are currently fundraising for:-
- iPads for our growing school community to enjoy
MUD KITCHEN FUNDED BY THE PTA
We take care to contribute evenly throughout the school and our contribution is significant and appreciated.
We meet roughly once a month to discuss ideas and arrange fundraising events. We are always willing to welcome newcomers, so if you would like to join us please get in touch.
If you feel you would be willing to help but do not feel able to commit to being on the committee, then perhaps you could be on our list of helpers. The only commitment required is to turn up to the event you agree to help with.
